Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor said that the long negotiations about his return to the octagon have finally succeeded.
According to a statement from the Irishman, his long-awaited fight with Mackle Chandler is expected to take place this summer.
"We received confirmation a few days ago. All systems are now up and running. McGregor will return to the UFC octagon this summer.
There's still no way Chandler will shut up. I saw him on a WWE show. I like Michael, but I'm going to beat him. If I said it, consider it done," - quotes McGregor ESPN.
Recall that McGregor has not competed since July 2021, when he lost by technical knockout to Dustin Puryear. In that fight, the Irishman suffered a severe leg fracture.
