Aspinall: "If the Blades want the fight, then I'm in."

Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall announced his readiness to defend his title in a fight against Curtis Blades.

Recall, these fighters have already met in the octagon. In July 2022, the Brit suffered an early defeat in the first round due to a knee injury.

"If Curtis wants the fight, then I'm game. I respect Curtis and would like a rematch. I lost that time due to injury and I have nothing against Blaydes. I can't sit here and say I don't like him. Because I do like him.

He's a great guy, his team is great people, his dad is a good guy. I can't say anything personal about Curtis. As a fighter - I want to smear him. I owe this guy a debt and I'd like to pay it back. So if the UFC wants to make our fight, I'm fully prepared," Aspinall said in an interview with Michael Bisping.
