UFC featherweight champion Alexandre Pantoja of Brazil commented on the announcement of his fight with the division's tenth-ranked Australian Steve Erceg.
It was previously reported that these fighters will meet on May 4 as part of the UFC 301 event in Rio de Janeiro.
"I believe that at this point he is a more difficult opponent for me than Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval. He's a new face in our division and has nothing to lose. But to be fair, I have more fighting experience, I think that will be my advantage in the fight," Sportskeeda quoted Pantoja as saying.
Erceg has had only three fights in the UFC: he defeated David Dvorak and Alessandro Costa on points, and knocked out Matt Schnell
