Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland said he expects to get an immediate rematch with current belt holder Dricus Du Plessis.
"You know I'm not interested in behind-the-scenes intrigue and titles, but it makes me laugh that Adesanya was given an immediate rematch when Pereira sent him to bed.... My fight ended in a close decision, and even Dana White himself thought I won. Everybody thought so. And the stats say that too. We need a second fight," - the American on his page in the social network X.
Recall that Strickland lost to Du Plessis by split decision. The fight took place on January 20 at the tournament UFC 297 in Toronto, Canada.
