Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker has pledged an early victory in his fight with current interim titleholder Zhang Zhilei for the same version of the interim title tomorrow, March 8, in Riyadh.
"Zhang said he wants to knock me out. Zhang, I will knock you out. Zhilei did a great job when he defeated Joyce twice. The boxer I was when I fought Joyce is not the fighter I am now. Physically, mentally. I'm up for the challenge. He's the favorite of the fight and I'm the underdog, but I'm going to show what I can do.
I have a great team that I have complete trust and faith in. Thanks to Tyson Fury for introducing me to Andy Lee, he's a great trainer. When everything is going great in training camp, everything is balanced, there is good health, results, I feel dangerous," Parker said at the press conference.
