Alex Pereira, the current UFC bantamweight champion, has named a condition under which he would be willing to train alongside his former rival and the promotion's former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
"Anything can happen. Maybe the UFC has plans to have another fight between us. I'm ready for that. But I think I'm done with that. I would even train with him if I had the opportunity. He's a very average fighter. We have similar styles, but we're different in a lot of ways, so a rivalry would help us get ahead. But training is only possible if we're sure we're definitely not going to fight again. I've challenged him and suggested he meet at flyweight. I don't want him to fight in that division before fighting me. What if he loses? No, let him come straight at me. But he was not interested in that, so I dropped the idea," MMA Fighting quoted Pereira as saying.
