Loeffler is pleased with the appointment of Golovkin as head of the NOC of Kazakhstan

Former promoter Gennady Golovkin Tom Leffler reacted to GGG’s appointment to the post of head of the NOC of Kazakhstan.

“I am glad that Gennady has been appointed president of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan. This is a well-deserved honor for him, and I am confident that he will do an excellent job with this task, given all his experience in amateur and professional sports.

Gennady achieved more in the ring than many boxers can dream of. Now he will continue his sports career in a completely different capacity and in one of the most prestigious positions, representing his country Kazakhstan,” the functionary said.

Let us remember that Golovkin fought his last fight in September 2022, losing by unanimous decision to Saul Alvarez.
