Tszyu named the favorite for the potential Alvarez-Benavidez fight

WBO world champion in junior middleweight Tim Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs) expressed the opinion that the holder of the WBC belt in the second middle category David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs) has the strength to defeat an absolute champion in the same division Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs).

“Canelo vs. Benavidez? I'm a big fan of Benavidez, he's a real monster, just a beast. If they fight, I’ll lean towards Benavidez,” Tszyu said in an interview with the YouTube channel Fight Hub TV.

Let us remind you that it became known earlier that Benavidez will fight his next fight against Ukrainian veteran Alexander Gvozdyk. The WBC light heavyweight title will be at stake in the meeting.
