Hill responded to haters about the fight with Pereira: “Don’t cry because of your own high expectations”

Jamal Hill, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, responded to critics who believe that his fight with Alex Pereira is not worthy of leading the UFC 300 anniversary.

“You shouldn’t cry because of your own high expectations. As for the main fight, this is a fight that will absolutely be spectacular. Plus, it will have major ramifications for a division that has historically been one of the most attractive to viewership.

I saw a comment along the lines of: “I was waiting for Conor to fight Jesus.” I think people would be unhappy even in that case. Even if the main fight of UFC 300 was Mario vs. King Kong or Wolverine vs. Spider-Man or Hulk vs. Superman,” Hill said.

Let us remind you that UFC 300 will take place on April 14 in Las Vegas.
