Joshua: “The fight with Ngannou is the most important in my life”

Former WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion, British Anthony Joshua spoke about the upcoming fight with the Cameroonian ex-leader of the UFC heavy division Francis Ngannou.

“It was talked about before and I said, ‘No, this is not a serious fight, it’s not what I think is right to have a crossover fight when I’m still chasing heavyweight glory.

And then, I think, when they saw what happened with his last fight, the situation with Wilder, this opportunity arose. I have never turned down a challenge and I look forward to it. So the fight with Ngannou is the most important fight in my life,” Joshua said in an interview with DAZN.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between Joshua and Ngannou will take place on March 9 as part of a large-scale boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
