The IOC did not allow Pacquiao to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games

Abraham Tolentino, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Philippines, announced that the legendary Manny Pacquiao still will not be able to perform at the 2024 Olympic Games, which will be held this year in Paris. The IOC did not give permission for Pac-Man to perform at the Olympic Games due to his age. It should also be noted that Manny did not participate in the qualifying tournaments in which licenses for the Olympics are earned.

“It’s a pity that our beloved boxing icon was not allowed (to the Olympics - note) due to his age. Every athlete, regardless of the sport, needs to go through qualifying competitions in order to have the opportunity to compete in Paris,” the boxingnews24 functionary quotes.

Let us remind you that the Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11.
