Tom Aspinall, the interim UFC heavyweight champion, explained why his fight with Alex Pereira, champion of the organization in the light heavyweight division, lost his temper. According to Tom, information has reached him that the Brazilian does not yet plan to move up to heavyweight.

“We talked a little with Alex on the Internet. And then it turned out that we had a couple of mutual friends. And from them I heard rumors that Alex was not yet going to climb to heavy weight. After that, I stopped pursuing this fight. Yes, I’m ready to fight at UFC 300, but against whom?” Aspinall said.

Earlier, information appeared on the network that Pereira and Aspinall could fight at UFC 300.

Let us remind you that the 300th anniversary UFC tournament will take place on the night of April 14 in Las Vegas.
