Lomachenko's manager explained why he will remain at lightweight for the rest of his career

Well-known manager Egis Klimas, managing the affairs of the former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko, explained why his ward will remain in the lightweight division for the rest of his career.

“The junior welterweight is out of the question. And he doesn’t want to go down to the second featherweight. He couldn't get big fights at that weight, so he moved up to lightweight and decided to stay here. I asked him why don’t we go down to the second featherweight division and become a champion there literally in a second? He replied that he had already become a lightweight and wanted to show himself at this weight...,” the functionary said.

Let us remind you that on May 12 in Perth Lomachenko will fight with George Kambosos. The vacant IBF lightweight world title will be on the line in this fight.
