Former UFC middleweight champion and current commentator and analyst Michael Bisping gave advice to a mid-division prospect Khamzat Chimaev.
“Yes, Dana White was talking about a title shot for Chimaev! It came out of his mouth. But then Khamzat got injured! Now Chimaev needs to stay back and wait his turn. Although no, I’m a big fan of Khamzat, I can’t speak so disrespectfully. Perhaps he should fight someone else at middleweight. But you can’t just stay away! Yes, you were promised a title fight, but you yourself were unable to go to Canada due to injury! Of course it's not your fault, I understand your disappointment. But we live in a cruel world.”
