Frank Warren, head of promotion company Queensberry Promotions, responded sharply to the former world champion Carl Froch, who recently called boxing nights in Saudi Arabia a “money grab.” Warren called Froch a fool and reminded him of how he himself wanted to fight Conor McGregor.
“Of course, for the sake of money (we are talking about a possible fight with Conor - note). So we will put on the fights that the fans want to see, for the money. This is the business in which we work, and it’s called professional boxing,” the functionary added.
