Strickland: “I don’t care about the belt, I fight for the money.”

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland spoke about the main motivation in his career.

“Do you think I have enough money now? I'm a damn world champion! Do I have enough funds? Hell no. I don't care about this belt. People are fighting over money, we're just a bunch of assholes trying to get a check,” Strickland said at a press conference.

On the night of January 21, in the main event of UFC 297 in Toronto, Canada, Strickland will defend his title against Dricus Du Plessis.
