Arthur Beterbiev, world light heavyweight champion according to WBC, WBO, IBF, commented on the reaction of the Ukrainian Embassy in Canada to his words in support of the odious Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov.
“Every person has the right to say what they want. I didn’t like it - what should I do? They may not like much of what I say. And I, too, may not like much of what someone says. I don’t complain everywhere, I don’t have enough time for that. I think no. No troubles will follow in Canada. I didn't do anything wrong. I follow the laws, I follow the traffic rules. I don’t cross or drive through a red light. I'm doing everything right. I’m trying, at least,” Beterbiev said.
Let us remember that after an early victory over Callum Smith last Sunday, Beterbiev called Kadyrov a “champion,” after which the Ukrainian embassy in Canada criticized the boxer.
