Islam Makhachev, the current UFC lightweight champion, could headline the organization's debut tournament in Saudi Arabia. This was reported by famous journalist and insider Ariel Helwani.

“The first time I heard mention of this event was from Islam Makhachev, who announced that he was going to fight Justin Gaethje at a number event on June 8, and in the light of new information his words make a lot of sense - obviously he knew something in advance,” - Helwani said.
