Pereira confirmed that his next opponent will not be Ankalaev

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira made a statement about his next fight. According to the Brazilian, he is preparing to meet with the former title holder Jamal Hill.

“Guys, let’s focus on the main thing, which is Jamal, and then I’ll focus on breaking another record - making two title defenses in the shortest possible time,” Pereira wrote in X.

Let us remember that Hill became the champion in January last year, but never made a single defense. In the summer, the American was seriously injured, after which he decided not to hold up the division and voluntarily gave up his belt.
