Beterbiev revealed how much longer he plans to perform

Unified World Light Heavyweight Champion Artur Beterbiev told how long he plans to continue his sports career. The Canadian will turn 39 on January 21st.

“I don’t plan to surpass Hopkins’ record. He seemed to be a champion at 49 years old. I don’t need this achievement, but I’ll be performing for another three, four or five years. I want to be more active and fight more often.

As long as I am healthy, I will continue. I always ask my fitness trainers if I'm getting worse. So far they answer that I’m only progressing,” Boxing Scene quotes Beterbiev.

Let us remind you that today, January 14, Beterbiev knocked out Callum Smith in the seventh round.
