Reyes vs. Ulberg will not take place at UFC 297

New Zealand UFC light heavyweight Carlos Ulberg injured and will not be able to fight against the former title challenger Dominic Reyes, which was supposed to take place on January 20 at the UFC 297 tournament in Toronto.

"Hi all. The fight that was supposed to take place on January 20th was canceled due to an “injury” to my opponent. We are currently trying to find a replacement or reschedule this fight. “I had a great camp, so of course I’m upset, but I know God has a plan for me,” Reyes wrote in X.

According to MMA Fighting, the UFC plans to postpone the meeting of these fighters to March 30.
