Sonenn names opponent and date of Adesanya's next fight

Former UFC fighter, and now commentator and analyst Chael Sonnen made a statement regarding the next fight of the organization's ex-middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. According to Sonnen, Izzy will fight at UFC 300 with the winner of the Strickland-Du Plessis confrontation.

“The reason why there was such a rush to make the fight between Strickland and Du Plessis is that the winner will meet Izzy at UFC 300. I’m not saying that everything has already been agreed upon, but it sounds tempting...” said Sonnen.

Let us remember that Adesanya previously said that he would return to the Octagon earlier than in 2027.
