Joshua and Wilder could fight twice next year

The contract will cover Joshua and Wilder for two fights, the first of which is scheduled for March 9. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, and Shelley Finkel, Wilder's manager, unanimously confirm preliminary negotiations, but deny that contracts are ready to be signed.

“Everything happens very quickly. We are discussing two fights next year, but there are some things that need to be done. First of all, both must win Saturday's fights and come out of them unscathed and without serious injuries. And if one of them fails, the rest won’t matter much,” Hearn said.

Let us remind you that in a few tens of hours Otto Wallin (26-1, 14 KOs) will meet Joshua in the ring. Wilder's opponent will be Joseph Parker (33-3, 23 KOs).
