Dricus Du Plessis, a contender for the UFC middleweight championship belt, spoke about a fight with the current champion Sean Strickland.
“He didn’t like what I said? I don't care about that. Since he allows himself to comment on everything, then let him listen to himself. Now he needs to calm down. It's strange that I'm giving advice to the champion, but he should chill out. When you're on edge, you make mistakes. I can’t believe how easy it was to piss him off! I thought he could take a punch better - it's Sean Strickland! And then one sentence and the guy loses his head. This means it’s easy to break him psychologically,” the fighter said.
Let us remind you that the brawl between Du Plessis and Strickland took place at UFC 296.
