Usman recalled fights with Covington: “He fought me on equal terms”

Kamaru Usman, former UFC welterweight champion, recalled his fights with Colby Covington. Usman noted that Colby fought him on equal terms.

“I’ll be honest with you. Colby Covington fought me on equal terms. I just had to beat him at the end. Did you see him fight Robbie Lawler? He will throw numerous blows, and then he will start to come at you and hit you again, again and again. The first blow may not hit you. The second one may not hurt. But maybe the 18th punch will hurt you,” the fighter said.

Previously, Usman called Edwards the favorite in the fight with Covington.
