Covington called Makhachev a fighter who beats midgets

Colby Covington, a top welterweight, once again criticized the promotion's current lightweight champion Islam Makhacheva.

“I fight at my natural weight because I know that I am the best fighter in the world. I'm not like Islam Makhachev, who has to push so much weight to gain an advantage over the midgets and beat them up. “I’m number one in the pound-for-pound rankings on the planet because I fight in my natural weight class,” said the fighter.

Let us remind you that on December 16, Covington will fight with UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards. Their confrontation will headline UFC 296.
