Wilder: 'I'm training to be a killer'

Dmitriy Kel Dec. 12, 2023, 5:28 a.m.

Former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder told how his psychological state changes during training camp.

ā€œIā€™mĀ training to be a killer. It completely changes your thinking. I like this feeling. It's a crazy feeling to know that you are a dangerous guy, a walking weapon, and at any given time you can hurt or threaten someone.

At camp I become very serious and more aggressive. I have a goal to achieve. I love this adrenaline rush. And Iā€™m looking forward to releasing this feeling during the fight,ā€ Boxing Scene quotes Wilder as saying.

Let us remind you that Wilder will fight Joseph Parker on December 23 in Riyadh.
