In the main event of the evening in San Antonio, Texas, undefeated world champion Mikey Garcia (38-0, 30 KOs) got a unanimous decision over Sergey Lipinets (13-1, 10 KOs), took away his IBF super lightweight title and became the world champion in four different weight categories. The scores were: 116-111, 117-110, 117-110. In the seventh round Lipinets was down from the left hook to the head.
