Jai Opetaya has recently become the main figure of the first heavyweight in the world. But besides him, a new star of this weight category is growing in New Zealand - David Nyika (4-0, 3 KOs). The 27-year-old bronze medalist of last year's Tokyo Games in 91 kg boxed for the last time on June 5 at the evening, the main event of which was the fight between Devin Haney (28-0, 15 KOs) and George Kambosos (20-1, 10 KOs) for all four championship belts in light weight. Nyika is also set to return on the undercard of their October 16 rematch in Melbourne.
