Soccer has long been part of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s life, and this week the former UFC lightweight champion made it clear which team holds a special place for him: Real Madrid.
In a social media post, Nurmagomedov said he has followed the sport since childhood and never imagined that the world’s biggest clubs would one day invite him as a guest. Over the years, he said, he has visited numerous stadiums and training grounds belonging to major teams across the game.

Even with that access, Nurmagomedov said Real Madrid stands above the rest for him, calling the Spanish powerhouse the club closest to his heart.
