Usman Still Believes in Adesanya

"I’m a fan of Israel, but I also see this as a fighter who’s been in similar situations himself, and it’s tough because he still has it. He still can — you can see that. He can still break opponents apart, but when you end up in a situation like that, it’s almost impossible not to start doubting yourself.

When you’re on the rise and young, you just go out there and win again and again. You don’t have time for doubt. You have that internal edge. But when you’ve already been at the top and now you start sliding downward, doubt comes with that decline. Do I still have it? Can I still do this? Am I still at that level? So you have to find a way to plant an anchor and turn the boat back around," Usman said on a recent episode of his podcast.
