Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov explained why he does not support women competing in mixed martial arts.
“Every person has their own mission in life. For a man, it is to raise children, take care of the family, and look after loved ones. There are very few women who take on great responsibility. It is very hard for them. This is not without reason. God created it this way: a woman is weaker, a man is stronger.
People want to change everything and mix it all together. I don’t know how you feel about it, but I like it when a man does a man’s work and a woman does a woman’s work,” Nurmagomedov was quoted as saying by Championship Rounds.
