Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland reacted with his usual sarcasm to the news of his upcoming title fight against the undefeated current belt holder Khamzat Chimaev.

In an interview with Brian The Internet, the fighter couldn't resist making a sharp remark: 'The fight with Chimaev will not take place at the White House because they don't like terrorists there. But the main thing is that this fight will happen.'

The fight is officially scheduled for May 9 at UFC 328 in Newark, New Jersey. For Chimaev, this will be his first title defense.

Recall that the conflict between the fighters has been ongoing for several years: mutual accusations of foul play and harsh statements in interviews have long made their rivalry one of the most talked-about topics in the division. Now the war of words moves to the octagon.
