Pereira's fight with Jones could headline the UFC tournament at the White House

Ariel Helwani, a well-known journalist and insider, reported that the heavyweight fight between Jon Jones and Alex Pereira is a potential main event for the UFC festive tournament, which will take place on June 14 at the White House.

“There are really discussions about this. I think it would be an amazing main fight for the tournament at the White House. I don't know if they will eventually manage to organize everything. And as far as I hear, if this fight does not take place, then Alex Pereira will fight Cyril Gane,” said the reporter in the latest episode of his podcast.

Recall, Pereira previously vacated the light heavyweight championship title.
