"If this happens, we all know the result. It will be a lopsided fight, as it will be what has happened dozens of times in the gym: Chimaev will take Sean down and choke him out in the first round," Imavov stated in an interview with MMA Fighting.

Nassourdine admits that the main appeal of such a match would be the pre-fight promotional campaign. "So maybe the promotion of this fight would be great, with constant insults," he noted, but added immediately that the fight itself will quickly lose value.

The fighter is confident that the fleeting finale will make the fight useless in terms of spectacle and competitiveness. "However, in the end, the fight will be useless because it will end very quickly, and Sean himself knows this," concluded Imavov.

Thus, Imavov essentially criticized the idea of a Chimaev-Strickland title fight, calling it predictable and uninteresting from a sports perspective, despite the potential for a lot of hype around the confrontation.
