UFC welterweight Daniil Donchenko expressed his thoughts on a possible bout against his fellow countryman, former Bellator champion Yaroslav Amosov, who now also competes in the UFC. Donchenko honestly states that he stands no chance in this fight
"To be honest, there are no chances. In wrestling, he's truly on a different level. I've trained with Yaroslav and can honestly say that I've worked with many top UFC fighters, with champions and former champions, but I've never seen such a level, such control, and understanding of anatomy like he has.
His sense of his opponent's body is incredible—where to press, how to block, how to 'disable' certain movements. When you're on the ground with him, you immediately understand the difference in level. There may be 20-30 very strong fighters with good stats in the gym, and you compete with them on equal footing. But when you engage in a fight with Yaroslav, it's a different class."
