MMA veteran Nick Diaz is confident that he can return to the octagon and defeat UFC champions Khamzat Chimaev and Islam Makhachev in the middleweight and welterweight divisions.
"I see myself as a world champion. Things are not like they used to be now. People will see a completely new me. I'm ready to fight at welterweight or middleweight, with Islam or another guy— with Chimaev. I think I can beat any of them. I may lose, but I see myself winning these fights. It's a matter of strategy. If you go into the fight with the right formula and execute it correctly, they can be defeated."
Recall that Diaz held his last fight in September 2021, losing prematurely to Robbie Lawler.
