Paddy Pimblett commented on the loss in the fight with Justin Gaethje.

“I wanted to leave here with this belt, but I know I'm a tough fighter without it—I don't need to prove it to anyone. But if I lost, I'm glad it happened in a fight against Justin Gaethje. I've loved watching his fights since I started watching the UFC, and he showed today why he is a true legend. I think 48-47 is a fair score. I won’t hide it—he hit me in the body in the first round, right in the solar plexus, and it hit me hard because I was taking the first round up to that point. But, live and learn. I'm 31 years old and I'll come back stronger, that's all. This is not the end for me,” said the British fighter in an interview with Joe Rogan after the fight.

Let us recall, Pimblett lost to Gaethje by unanimous decision in the main fight of UFC 324.
