Pimblett explained why he got a title fight

Paddy Pimblett, a contender for the interim UFC lightweight title, explained why he got the opportunity to fight for the title.

“Everyone says that I don't deserve a title fight, that Gaethje doesn't deserve a title fight, but I have the longest winning streak in the division, and Justin is an eternal contender. He's an absolute legend. We don't hit fans, we don't pull out of fights, and we don't headbutt opponents at weigh-ins. So, I understand why the chance was given to us and not to some specific baffoons. Ilia took a break, they don't want to give Arman a chance, and Max and Charles are fighting for the BMF title. In the end, only Gaethje and I were left, and the UFC decided that it's the right fight,” the Briton is quoted by MMA Fighting.
