— Do your friends in the USA, coaches, team ask you about the war in Ukraine?
— Of course, I can tell them what's happening. When I say we still have air raid alarms, shelling, killings of Ukrainians, that this is our reality, people there are surprised. They don't know it's an everyday thing for us. They ask about my family and are surprised when I say they are in Ukraine. They kind of understand, but they live a different life. We hope the whole world thinks about us, but in reality, they don't.
I tell the coach: "Come to Ukraine!" He asks if it's safe. I can't guarantee, but my family, my kids, are in Ukraine!
— There is definitely one fighter in the UFC who openly supports Ukraine — Georgian Merab Dvalishvili. Do you communicate with him?
— Yes, I communicate with him, we correspond. He was in the hall at my fight, congratulated me after the victory. I gave him chocolate from the Lviv Chocolate Workshop. I wanted to do something nice for him. I respect him very much and am grateful for his support of our country. He's a really cool guy! — Amosov said.
