Jiri Prochazka denied rumors of an imminent fight with Carlos Ulberg. The former UFC light heavyweight champion recorded a video message on Instagram, where he stated directly that the information about the fight is not true.

"It's not true. Negotiations are ongoing, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet," emphasized the Czech fighter. According to him, he intends to return to the octagon by the end of March to have enough time for a fight before an important personal life event.

Prochazka admitted that he expects the birth of a child in April, so he wants to finish all his fight matters before that time. The fighter emphasized that he is preparing to return and is staying in shape, but there are no specific dates or opponents yet.

The only wish of the ex-champion is that the next fight should be for the title. "I want to fight for the belt. Trust only official announcements from the UFC," Prochazka concluded his address, putting an end to the spreading rumors.
