Top American UFC fighter Mario Bautista shared his thoughts on a potential third octagon meeting between Russian Petr Yan and Georgian Merab Dvalishvili.
In early December, Yan defeated Dvalishvili on points and reclaimed the UFC bantamweight title. Now the score in their rivalry is 1-1.
“Who is the favorite in the third fight? It's hard to say. Merab fought four times in a year. He might need a break. On the other hand, one cannot rule out that Yan was competing with a hand injury in the first fight, which affected his performance. Maybe Petr has found an approach to Merab. In any case, it will be an exciting fight,” Bautista noted in a conversation with Home of Fight.
