Adesanya will retire in the UFC

Israel Adesanya, former UFC middleweight champion, announced that he will end his fighting career in the promotion.

“My career will end in the UFC. MMA is the highest form of martial arts. You use all limbs, the entire possible arsenal. How can I, being one of those who was at the very top in this sport, now say: 'Why not just go into boxing?' I have always said 'no' to this because I felt that my legacy was already carved in stone. But everyone has their price, and mine is very high. I don’t think anyone can afford it—except maybe Turki Al-Sheikh. So I'm going to end my career on top—in the UFC,” Adesanya is quoted as saying by MMA Junkie.
