The former UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili made his first statement after losing to Petr Yan in the main bout of UFC 323 in Las Vegas.
The Georgian was defeated by the Russian by unanimous decision after five rounds.
"I tried to give a show and I lost. His plan was better. Congratulations to him, but I want a rematch. It's always hard for me to make weight because I use my own method, I don't trust nutritionists, but I don't want to make excuses. I tried to fight spectacularly, everyone is happy—that's what matters. I didn't want to wrestle, fighting is boring. I wanted to brawl with him, and today he was better," Merab said.
