UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili stated that he plans to finish Petr Yan early in the upcoming rematch.
The fight will headline UFC 323, which will take place on the night of December 7th in Las Vegas, USA.
"This time I will be much better in ground control... I have become much better as a fighter. I am sure he will be better prepared, but my goal is to finish him, whether it be standing or on the ground. It might be a technical knockout. That is my goal. We will see, it's a fight, I respect Petr Yan as a fighter, he's a killer, so who knows, he might also knock me out," Dvalishvili said in an interview with Daniel Cormier's YouTube channel.
Let us remind you that the first fight between Dvalishvili and Yan took place in March 2023. The Georgian fighter won by unanimous decision that time.
