Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland spoke about his decision to refuse an offer to fight Anthony Hernandez at UFC 325, scheduled for January 31 in Sydney, Australia.
“I said 'no' to the card in Australia. Australia, I freaking love you guys. You are all white trash, like-minded people, but I don't have medical insurance. Do you want me to have my first fight in Australia and give you half of my check to freaking pay for your medical insurance? I don't want to do it, damn it. Hernandez doesn't want to do it, I don't want to... I like the fight with Hernandez, let's get this shit done in the States,” Strickland said on X.
