American mixed martial arts veteran Tony Ferguson spoke about the interim lightweight title fight in the UFC between his compatriot Justin Gaethje and Briton Paddy Pimblett.
“If I were to place a bet, I would choose a newcomer who is going for a new opportunity, not an older guy who has already fought for the belt. The victory will be for Paddy, but good luck to both of them, I hope for a mutual knockout,” said Ferguson in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
Let us recall that the Gaethje vs. Pimblett fight will be the main event of UFC 324, which will take place on January 24 in Las Vegas.
