Bisping explained why he respects Makhachev

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping explained why he respects Islam Makhachev, a former lightweight champion.

“This is why I respect this guy... He decided to move up to welterweight and try something new after defending the title four times. We've seen many times how fighters wanted to win a title in a different weight class right after becoming champions. Because there is no risk in this; if you lose, you remain the champion. Makhachev defended the title four times and proved that he is truly the best lightweight fighter in the world,” said Bisping in an interview with Mike Bohn's YouTube channel.
