Pereira said that in the first fight against Ankalaev he was ready at 40 percent

Alex Pereira stated that he entered the first fight with Magomed Ankalaev far from optimal condition, showing less than half of his true potential.

“Accepting defeat is not easy, but to be honest, if you put everything together, what I’ve been through, and what has happened to me, but about which I will not talk now—I am glad that I was able to perform in the fight as I did.
