Ulberg wants to insure the rematch between Ankalaev and Pereira

Carlos Ulberg expressed his desire to insure the fight between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira.

“I talked to Hunter Campbell right after the fight and asked him to bring me to Las Vegas. He said “sure”, so everything is great. I said that I want to be the backup.

I am here to set records. I don’t think anyone has fought for a title the next weekend after a fight. That’s what I imagine. And I have already stated this. First, I want to be in Las Vegas. If the UFC makes me the backup — cool. I will do the job if someone “falls out”,’ said Ulberg at the press conference.
